Reminder that Conway Airport runway is to be closed on Jan 22, 2024 for upto 3 months.
Check the youngeagle.org website for info on Young Eagles.
The 2024 Spring Fly-in is scheduled for the 2nd Saturday in May (the 11th of May)..
We still need more volunteer pilots and others for the Young Eagle flights.
The 2024 Fall Fly-in is scheduled for Nov 9th this year.

Duane gave the Treasurer's Report: $1630.54 Balance in the account.
Jim gave an excellent lecture on V speeds based around Vx and Vy. He also discussed the need to almost alway use full flaps for landing even in high winds.

As always, aircraft hangers in the local area was discussed which is always an issue.
We had one new person show up this month..
